Matthew Mellor – Chief Executive Officer
Graduating with a BA Communication, Matthew’s career began in 1992 as a copywriter.
In 1995 he joined DM agency Finex (Sydney) as Account Director, managing clients including Mirvac, Accor Asia Pacific, IBM, and Rolls Royce. Later, as joint MD, Matthew took on a regional role covering Singapore, where he launched United Overseas Bank’s platinum credit card and the mobile network move campaign for SingTel mobile.
In 1999, Matthew joined hma Blaze (a joint venture with George Patterson Y&R) as General Manager, working on diversifying the service offering from transactional to solutions based outcomes for clients including Michael Page International, Stamford Hotels and Resorts, Roche, Australian Airlines, Park Hyatt Hotels, NSW State Government and Standards Australia.
Matthew joined Adcorp as General Manager, Victoria in 2006 and became General Manager Victoria / Group Head of Solutions in 2009. He was appointed by the Board to the role of Chief Operating Officer in January 2010.
Matthew brings to Adcorp proven experience in strategic planning, business development, people management and 18 years experience in the marketing and advertising industries.
Craig McMenamin - Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Craig McMenamin commenced in April 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary and is an experienced CFO with over 15 years of financial leadership in the Media, Retail, Entertainment and Manufacturing sectors, both locally and abroad.
Craig's track record includes leading the financial strategy of high-growth, transformational businesses, playing a key role in strategic development and growth, while driving improvements of underlying operational systems, processes and investments.
Prior to joining Adcorp, Craig was CFO of GEON Group, a leading print media company. For five years prior to that, Craig was the CFO of Ticketek, owned by Publishing & Broadcasting Ltd and the leading ticketing partner for the sports and entertainment industry in Australia and New Zealand. As a member of the Leadership team, Craig played a key role in the significant commercial growth and success of the business over the period.
Craig has also held senior finance roles in Associated Press Television (London) and in the Australian retail sector.
Craig is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Amanda Collins – HR Director & Consultant
Amanda is a qualified Human Resource professional with over 17 years generalist Human Resources Management commercial experience. She holds a Postgraduate in Human Resource Management and is an accredited Mediator with the Australian Commercial Dispute Centre.
Prior to joining Adcorp, Amanda worked in senior HR leadership roles in various industries including professional services, recruitment, IT, retail, and healthcare. She has also run her own HR consultancy business, partnering with recruitment and industrial relations specialists to provide consultative advice to small-medium sized organisations.
As a HR professional, Amanda has experience in conducting and analyzing employee surveys and has a passion for personal development and successful change management which will improve both individual performance and bottom line results.
David Drury - Head of Digital
David Drury heads up the digital department across Australia and New Zealand. David is responsible for engineering highly-targeted, creative and engaging web solutions; as well as managing a dynamic and extremely talented implementation team that includes producers, project managers, designers, web developers and strategic services.
With over 13 years in the recruitment industry; 10 within digital alone, David brings deep knowledge, skills and experience to all clients he has the opportunity to engage with. David has experience working on a broad range of sectors including – mining, public sector, retail, health, financial services, and corporate. During his career, David has worked in the UK on clients throughout the country and across Europe (including Nike, Dixons, Anderson Consulting, Fidelity Investments, Nortel, and Metropolitan Police). In Australasia he has worked on clients (including McDonald’s, KFC, Robert Half International, Oil Search, IBM, Lenovo, Santos, and BHP).
David is driven by the challenge to make a significant and unique difference to each of the clients with which he works. David enjoys working within an agency that continues to explore new boundaries and strives to integrate the ever-changing technologies to deliver a competitive advantage to new and existing clients.
Tony Grantham - General Manager, New Zealand
Tony joined Adcorp in 1998, establishing the Auckland agency. Since 2006 Tony has been General Manager of Adcorp’s New Zealand operations, with 60 staff in four locations reporting to him.
Prior to Adcorp Tony worked in New Zealand and the UK within the employment advertising agency market, working with NZ Army and Victoria University in Wellington and British Aerospace and Sun Alliance in the UK.
Adcorp’s New Zealand operation holds dominant market share in employment advertising for Government, Healthcare and Local Government. Along with a growing reputation for delivering strong solutions to the corporate market, Tony’s team is focused on growing both its offering and ability to deliver results led solutions to a wider client market.
Tony is also a Director of Adcorp New Zealand Limited.
David Morrison - General Manager, WA/SA/NT
David joined Adcorp in 2003 bringing over seven years experience from his position as State Director of TMP Advertising & Communications. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree with Honours in Marketing and is a seasonal lecturer and tutor at Edith Cowan University.
David has managed the communications of organisations such as WMC, Woodside, Austral Ships, University of Western Australia, Morgan & Banks, Rio Tinto and Alcoa. David is also trained in facilitating qualitative focus groups and conducting large-scale quantitative surveys.
Recently David has overseen the acquisition and integration of boutique design company, Dmark into the Adcorp Perth office. This has brought new skills and capabilities, adding retail design skills to Adcorp’s core business, providing cut-through advertising that achieves results.
Claire Broughton - Head of Transactional Employment, Education and NSW Government
Claire’s background spans seven years in the recruitment industry, both for Kelly Services, a general recruiter and Aquent, a consultancy that specialised in recruitment the marketing, communication and creative industries.
As part of her career span, Claire had five years experience with Ernst & Young, in a Chartered Accounting environment where she was responsible for training staff and organising marketing events, including golf days, budget breakfasts and partner conferences.
Her experience with Adcorp covers more than seven years, where she has held the roles of Account Manager and Operations Manager for the Brisbane Operation and now Agency Manager for the Sydney operation.
Tim Grogan – Head of Talent & Consulting
Tim Grogan graduated from Monash University with Bachelor of Business with Honours and began his corporate career with Ernst & Young as a management consultant. As a senior consultant, Tim specialised in process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing sector. From there Tim worked overseas for a multinational marketing organisation responsible for the management of the European promotional marketing business, with a specific focus on sales. After three successful years in London, Tim returned to Australia with the same company as the National Marketing Manager for the promotional marketing division. With a strong desire to work in a creative environment for a full service agency, Tim joined Adcorp in 2006 as a Senior Business Development Manager in Victoria. Tim quickly identified the strategic opportunities to develop an innovative approach to employment communications and has been instrumental in the growth of our client base with clients such as Telstra, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Coles. Tim is excited to lead the Talent & Consulting division and join the national senior leadership team.
